The fine print:

There is a one-time setup fee of $39 for all titles (except Amazon Buzz Buy only). This includes your access for author direct login for wholesale ordering of print copies.  All plan billing cycles will begin on the 31st day of your registration.  This date will become your “pruning” date, and you will be billed monthly (30-day cycle), quarterly, or annually after that, depending on your plan choice. You may cancel your plan at any time; however, only annual plans will be pro-rated for a refund.
